The UN Migration Agency, launched The Global Migration Film Festival in 2016.
Since 2020, the IOM Regional Office in Dakar (Senegal) has been leading the West and Central Africa Edition of the Festival where a selection of films from the region are shown at screenings organized across the region.

Genres & Lenghts:
Films of all genres (feature, documentary, animation, etc.) and lengths will be accepted

Films to be screened in up to 22 countries in West and Central Africa:
Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cabo Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea, Gabon, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Togo -

Period of the Festival: 24 November - 18 December 2021.
