CTO boss praises Rwanda musician-Tim Unwin

The Secretary General of the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation (CTO), Tim Unwin has said that Rwanda music is very rich and the local music industry has a lot of potential, basing on his experience in Rwanda.
Unwin, made the remarks on his blog during his recent visit to Rwanda where he chaired the Commonwealth e-Governance Forum 2015 in Rwanda, which he says was a success.
Tim said that the recent visit was just such an occasion, and shows above all the importance of friendship in international relations and to witness more talent in the Rwanda cultural entrainment
He previous in 2013 attend the Transform Africa conference held in Kigali and besides the spectacular networking events in the evenings, the festival of dance and music held in the evenings in the showcased the very best of musical talent in Rwanda.
Tim says that it was there that he first saw Teta Diana perform, and was captivated by her talent and personality and made sure that he asked to have her entertain the guests at the e-Governance Forum 2015.
"The star of the event, though, was absolutely Teta!  She has risen already to be one of the real stars of the Rwandan music scene, combining magical performances of traditional Rwandan music with more mainstream jazz, RnB and reggae" Tim says.
He says that Teta is an 'ambassador' for Rwanda, and her performing at various official events, her eagerness to take her passion for the way in which music can bring people together to a much wider audience internationally, is a special thing in her.
