Get ready for Arusha's big festival on the horizon soon. From 3-5 October, lots of names in culture and music will come to town. It's one of Tanzania's younger festivals, with its organisers saying:

"The festival provides an example of an event designed to develop, in both locals and visitors, an appreciation of the uniqueness, wealth and diversity of art and culture from the region and around the globe. It shows the beauty in the local traditional art, fine art and handicraft, applied and visual art with employment and income to be gained in sustaining it."

You can find out more soon on the official festival website, where the line-up should be announced shortly
