This Sunday the acting world lost a great actors If you have watched  Rise and fall of  Idi Amin (1981) be it the corrupted "DJ" version or the original you will recognize this face. Joseph Olita  passed away Sunday morning due to high blood pressure.He was well known name in the acting fraternity having starred in the 1981 mega hit rise and fall of Idi Amin where he portrayed Idi Amin., he was a police man in Sheena queen of the jungle (1984), Mississippi masala (1991) and in  The captain of Nakara.
He did not however live a fabulous life despite all his acting accomplishments  he had been spotted hawking DVDs of his film rise and fall of Idi Amin to make ends meet. Shining a light of  what  people in he Kenyan film industry have to do in order to survive.
He will forever be remembered for his role as Idi Amin in the rise and fall of Idi Amin film which was a co-production of the United Kingdom, Kenya, and Nigeria and was largely filmed in Kenya.
