The 2015 edition of Age of Wonderland will be addressing the intertwined and complex issues around our global food system, challenging creative practitioners to reflect upon the processes of food production, consumption and distribution.

Proposals are welcome from creative professionals, emerging artists between 21 and 45 years old, and researchers from Africa, Asia and Latin America working on the fringes of art, design, science and technology. Use the 'Open Call application information'link in the right sidebar to apply before 1 february 2015.

Age of Wonderland is a programme based on mutual knowledge exchanges between creative practitioners within Hivos'global network and the creative high-tech community in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.

During the artist's residency of six weeks in September and October 2015, creative practitioners will develop their projects and explore the global and social implications of their projects by means of experimentation and exchange of knowledge and ideas.

Dutch partner organisations will find counterparts for collaboration within the Dutch creative industries. H hospitality and conviviality are also a hallmark of the Age of Wonderland programme. Through iterations, hands-on workshops and co-creation sessions, these ideas will be shared and presented at Natlab during the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven, 17 to 25 October 2015

Proposals need to be sent before 1 February 2015 to Christine Wagner (tinew@xs4all.nl or Olga Mink (olga@baltanlaboratories.org
