The Fondation Suzanne Bastien invites the artists of Vanuatu to present artistic creations about cyclone PAM. The resident artist at the foundation, Joaquim Rufat, will show sketches made after the cyclone. One month after the disaster, there is still a lot to be done to rebuild the homes and lives. The country stands back on his feet.
« PAM! – Wan Manis Afta Saeklon » is, at first, an invitation to express oneself, to talk about the cyclone. This exhibition tries to gather witnesses of this terrible event. Picture, film, drawing, painting, songs, dance, text, poem…
The Fondation Suzanne Bastien also invites children from Pango's schools to take part to artistic workshops to express themselves and show their works at the exhibition.
On the opening of the exhibition, there will be a fund raising for the schools of Pango.
