The Keluka religion in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, a new global church with black roots.

The followers of the Keluka religion in the DRCongo believe that all nations and cultures have their own faith. Their bible is called "Lufulu" and dates the creation of the first black man on a Wednesday, which is why this is their Sunday. Their mindscape is full of strange (Christian, Islamic) spirits and block the connection between the ancestors and the physical body in the present, which is why black people have suffered mental damage and are unable to develop any further. It is no secret that in times of need always bring forth new sects and saviours, but did it have to be a new global church? The followers of the Keluka religion reject the religion brought in by non Africans.

De volgelingen van de Keluka-godsdienst in Congo zijn van mening dat alle volkeren en culturen hun eigen geloof hebben. Hun bijbel heet „Lufulu"en de eerste zwarte mens is geschapen op een woensdag; waardoor deze dag voor hen hun zondag is. Hun denkwereld zit vol vreemde (christelijke en islamitische) geesten en het contact tussen hun voorouders en hun fysieke lichaam is daardoor geblokkeerd. Ze zijn ervan overtuigd dat de zwarte mannen mentale schade hebben geleden en daardoor niet in staat zijn een succesvolle toekomst te ontwikkelen. Het is dan ook geen geheim dat in tijden van kommer en kwel er steeds nieuwe sectes en redders ten tonele verschijnen. Maar moest het echt een nieuwe globale godsdienst zijn? De volgelingen van de Keluka-godsdienst aanvaarden geen religie die door een niet-Afrikaan werd geïntroduceerd.
