Hubert Sauper, the Oscar-nominated director for Darwin's Nightmare, explores the transformations in Cuba as the communist system is on the verge of collapse. In the streets of Havana, he sets out to meet the inhabitants who share their views on American imperialism, capitalism and freedom in Cuba. By following children he calls The Little Prophets in their daily lives, the documentary sheds light on the historical, political and economic situation on the Golden Island.
