Seydou Dieng is the chief of Gaad, a village located near the mines of Senegal's chemical industries. He launches a tribune to the President of the Republic: the echo of his voice is masked by the harmful particles caused by the extraction of minerals. The earth, the people and the plants wait and hope that this cry of distress from the village chief will lead to relocation. The sky of Gaad is emptying. Dust and smoke cover everything.
