Enkehone, a young man from the Ethiopian countryside, is confronted with the realities of life in Katanga, a district of Addis Ababa that houses people from all walks of life. A sensitive portrait of this place and its inhabitants.

In Katanga, a bustling district of Addis Ababa where many provincials dream of succeeding in the capital, Enkehone, a street vendor from the countryside, lives in the makeshift hostel of Amele Mamo. Amele Mamo, who has been in the area for twelve years, welcomes and feeds her young customers in her modest tin house. She and Enkehone witness the hard life of the inhabitants of the area, which is living its last hours before being swallowed up by frenetic construction.
