Oumou, a brilliant teenager, wants to continue her studies in the capital after finishing school in her native Chimandougou. For economic reasons, her father forces her to marry the son of the village chief. Not being psychologically and physically ready, she had difficulty coping with the life of a household between chores, intimate nights and illnesses. All of Chimandougou will regret this arranged marriage.
