Because of a lack of medical facilities and doctors, Benin made a deliberate choice, bringing together healers and health agents from villages. After a short training course which lasted three weeks, the agents and healers get back to their village to practice their art the best they can. Baba Balogou is one of these healers, who dispense his science to mentally ill people while father Dai gives consultations in the scrubland.
