With a master's degree in Development and Education Sociology, Ado N. Bambara worked from 2008 to 2011 as assistant director to late Kouka Aimé Zongo. In 2013 he directed a documentary "Dignité retrouvée"; and a short fic-tional "Sini Dia" in 2014, winner of the second OIF Prize at FESPACO 2015. "A l'ombre de la passion" is his debut short fictional.
