Ibrahim SANO (aka Iyam Sano) is a Film critic, director, screenwriter.

Better known as Iyam Sano, he is a young film enthusiast.

For Iyam Sano, cinema is a universal art that speaks a common language. He aspires to create films that resonate on a global scale, celebrating the universality of human experience and highlighting African specificities.
He was trained as a film critic by Olivier Barlet and Baba Diop, during the training workshop of the Dakar Court 2024 festival, through which he joined Africiné Magazine (World Leader, for African Cinemas & Diasporas).
