Irene Tassembedo, a very well-known choreographer and producer, has always dedicated her life to Arts and Youth around the world. She is one of the great figures of contemporary dance in Africa. In 2007, after 30 years of an international career, she returned to settle in Burkina Faso, her country of birth with the aim to strongly impact youth. Beside dance, she pursued an acting career in film, television and theater. La Traversée - The Crossing (2021) is her third movie as a director after "KOKOKO afferage.com" (a movie about African women's life) and "Ça tourne à Ouaga" (a satirical movie about the cinema industry).
