Kirk Budhooram is an actor, writer, director, editor and producer from Trinidad and Tobago. He has two published novels, which are sold internationally. They are entitled, The Festival and Kirk Budhooram's Ibis Agents. He has starred in short movies such as Herman's TalesCool Your Head and The Kirk and Roxann Show.



He also acted in the feature films, UNICEF/MTV's Tribes, Little Boy Blue and 3-Line. He wrote and directed the dark, short drama, A Long Day Into Night, which aired on TV6. In 2007, he won PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD: BEST SHORT FILM at the Trinidad & Tobago Film Festival for writing and directing the 13-minute short movie,Herman's Tales: Kidnapped. In Kris Rampersad's book: FINDING A PLACE: INDO-TRINIDADIAN LITERATURE (pg 8) it states, "Kirk Budhooram may be the first Indo-Trinidadian to have a murder/suspense mystery novel (THE FESTIVAL) published."
