Orla O'Rourke was born in Zambia, Africa, but was raised in Dublin, Ireland. She started acting at the age of 12 but only started to take it seriously while completing her degree in Media studies.
During her studies she not only has had the opportunity to work with Gerry Stembridge but also appear as a regular character in the popular TV series'The Clinic' and work on other productions such as ITV's'Malice Afterthought' and'Whatever Love Means'. Her short films include'Tilly and the Teeth' and'Lesson 101: The Wacky Diary of a Pick up Artist' for which she received best Actress in the Comedy Category as part of the NYC "Movie Making Madness".
'The Front Line' is Orla's first feature film.
