Pat Rahming is a Bahamian architect, poet, novelist, singer-songwriter, philosopher and a former actor and athlete. Born in Nassau in 1944, he grew up in an extended family, under the direct care of his grand-mother, Ethel Rolle, with whom he travelled early in life, and from whom he leartned many of his life's lessons. Educated at McGill University in Montreal, Canada during the tumultuous years of the Hippies (he claims membership), he was strongly influenced by the concern for equality and personal relationships, which has produced songs, poetry, story-books and socio-political writings, much of it shared only with the native population of the Bahamas.
