Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, December 26, 1980, Gethro RANCY is cultural journalist, comedian, book reviewer, speaker, and poet, novelist. He studied social communication and drama (at the Petit Conservatoire). He began to study History of Art in the State University of Haiti (Institute for Studies and Research in Social Sciences).

Gethro Rancy collaborated on several cultural associations of the country such as the Petit-Goâve, Gonaives, Arcahaie, and those of Port-au-Prince. He has contributed to the cultural section of the Radio Mega-star. He was founder of the Association of Cercle Renaissance and he was the Public Relations Manager.

Some of his texts are published in "Le Nouvelliste", has its internet page and the "workshop of the media at the site of Radio France Internationale."

Gethro Rancy written in French, Creole and English. "AMALGAMES EROTIQUES" is his first book of poetry in (french edition) published in United States of America.
