Structure
At the top VAAM has the general assembly of all the registered artists and crafts people who meet once every three years to assess and approve annual reports, and discuss the ongoing or ever emerging programmes. Next is the nine member board of directors who oversee the performance of the secretariat on a regular basis. The secretariat also called the National Executive Committee (NEC), elected by the general assembly just like the members.
VAAM has offices at the Arts House in CLAIM Mabuku building in Blantyre where secretariat services are carried out.
