Two cities, six writers, one reading: "Bremen & Kampala - spaces of transcultural writing" presents a mutual reading in two cities at the same time. Come around and see our writers present their virtual exchange on the real life stage, Nora Bossong, Nikolas Hoppe und Jens Laloire in Bremen, Deborah Asiimwe, Nyana Kakoma, und Ronald Sseguja in Kampala. The writers will interact via Skype while retrospect the project and present translations of each other's work.

Free entrance.

Over a month six young, upcoming writers from Bremen and Kampala talked about writing conditions in both cities and exchanged their understanding of literature. The result is a complex portrait of a generation of writers for whom writing in and between transcultual urbanity occupies a central place. View the project at www.bremenwriteskampala or kampalawritesbremen.com!

The Bremen-Kampala event is joins a Sundowner with DJ Darkmeme, DJ Rachel and Giovanni Kremer Kiyingi... starting from 5pm.
