About
Inés Basombrío is an Argentinian singer, songwriter and guitarist living in Kenya since 2014. She is set to launch her 2nd album, 'Piel de Arena' (Sand Skin), reflecting on a woman's connection with the elements, with nature and with man; as felt and sensed throgh the skin. She will be joined by Kenyan musicians, Eddie Grey (jazz guitarist and composer) and Tetu Shani (percussionist) and guest artist Ritah Khatushi.
Inès studied music in Conservatoires in Brazil, Germany and Argentina (Manuel Falla Conservatoire). It is in Montevideo, Uruguay, where she lived for 10 yrs, that she found the real inspiration to publish her two albums..
