Independance under a scrutiny is an investigation into the history of Cameroon, focused on an'off-the-record" colonial war, its energy and strategy issues. It takes root at the heart of the French colonial project in central Africa ; and it branches out to the French African backyard and networks over a period spanning the dawn of the cold war to that of global economy. The violence, the number of victims and the silence surrounding the war France waged on Cameroon put it at the extreme end of the colonial domination relationship, crystallizing even into the structures of a racist imaginary world.
