Barbados didn't choose us, we chose Barbados. Some of our most cherished memories are enjoying informal and comfortable summers at Tanglewood, digging into picnics at Wolf Trap and The Mann, dancing at The Proms in Hyde Park, and breaking open container laws by uncorking champagne at the New York Philharmonic in Central Park.
These experiences not only fostered a love for classical music, but their pops seasons indulged our appreciation for pop-star collaborations, crossover classical music, jazz, opera, and film composers that formed our modern musical influences.
The fall and spring seasons in symphony halls are phenomenal, of course, but the "feel" is not the same. We longed for the summer seasons and didn't want to wait nine months to satisfy that longing. So we decided to create a winter home. After three years of exhaustive searching, we found it.
