Founded in 2018, The Casablanca Arab Film Festival focuses on bringing together impactful Arab films and providing cinema education in the form of expert-led workshops discussing the reality of Arab cinema under the scene defined by the Arab world, as well as the variables experienced by the creative works of these countries and the difficulties restricting their reach.

The aim of the festival is to promote cinema culture, with a focus in youth outreach, and to showcase the talent of actors, directors, and industry members from the Arab world within the international city of Casablanca.

The festival features two official competitions for short films and feature-length films. Over 40 documentaries, short films, and features from all over the Arab World are screened during the festival.
