Apart from screening films, the festival hosts various workshops and round table discussions. The following are some of the workshops that will be held:
1. Critic Workshop: Participants include journalists and news editors
2. Maisha Lab: This is a production workshop. Participants include script writters, directors, sound and camera men and technical editors
3. Script Writting Workshop: Targets youth and budding script writters facilitated by Gaston Kabore from Bukina Faso
4. Pitching Workshop: Participants include film makers and producers, script writters and directors. It is sponsored by the French Embassy and will be held at Alliance Francaise.
5. Radio and TV in promotional African Cinema sponsored by the French Embassy.
