MOTO - Aprili/April 2015

Genre : Workshop | Dar es Salaam

Wednesday 29 april 2015

Times : 00:00
Principal country concerned : Column : Cinema/tv, Literature, Poetry / story telling

This month we'll be back at the library (T.B. Sheth Public Library (Indo-Tanzania Cultural Centre) and continuing with our reads from March!

The Moto Reads idea seemed to be popular and we've decided to extend the March reads another month, this means the books for April will continue to be The Wicked Walk - W.E. Mkufya and Vuta n'Kuvute - Shafi Adam Shafi - if you didn't get to read them in March, now is your chance! The discount will continue for the next month (until next Moto session on 29th April) and you can purchase the books at discounted price at TPH Bookshop or KINUvation. We're also looking for book recommendations for future gatherings, let us know if you have a book you think we should be reading!

You can read sample chapters of the books:

English - The Wicked Walk - W.E. Mkufya (sample chapter)
Kiswahili - Vuta n'Kuvute - Shafi Adam Shafi (sample chapter)

As usual we also encourage writers to share their work, all genres, English or Swahili, and published or unpublished!

The event is free and open to anyone who is a writer and participation of all is encouraged regardless of experience. Moto is open to writers and speakers of Swahili or English and both languages are equally encouraged
