MOPAO JAZZ TRIO – jazz – 21.00
This performance will feature Jazz guitarist Emmanual Abraham Mopao. He is steadily becoming one of the authorities on the Dar es Salaam Jazz scene and is now ready to present his new solo project. His performance is based on improvisation and is a rare treat for Dar es Salaam Jazz enthusiasts.

MZUNGU KICHAA – unplugged – 21.45
Mzungu Kichaa will be opening up with an impromptu acoustic set together with his band. The lineup will be the same but the instrumentation will be geared towards a mellow acoustic performance. Mzungu Kichaa will feature acoustic versions of his songs from tuko pamoja and his most recent release, hustle and relax.

KIFIMBO – reggae – 23.00
Kifimbo is a reggae-afrofusion artist from Dar es Salaam that has a promising future. His up-tempo songs never seize to put his audience in a good mood. He performed his first performance at THE BEAT last year and surprised us all with his high-energy performance. We look forward to welcoming him back to THE BEAT this Friday!
