The group Lindigo, led by the young and charismatic Olivier Araste, is the modern representation of maloya, a musical tradition inherited from enslaved Africans still forbidden in Reunion in 1981. Invited to the Havana World Music Festival, Olivier Araste and Lindigo travel to Cuba. For Olivier, this trip to the land of salsa is an opportunity to embark on an artistic quest. He secretly hopes to record part of his new record there. Lindigo's approach is intriguing to Cubans. Among their various encounters, they connect with the Muñequitos de Matanzas, the internationally renowned representatives of the Cuban rumba. A musical love story starts which is translated in studio, with the recording of 3 titles for Lindigo's new record.
