In the not-so-distant future, New York is on the verge of bankruptcy. Ten years after a so-called socialist revolution, promises of equality remain a dead letter. The death of the black activist Adelaide at the hands of the police triggers radical collective actions that short-circuit the trajectories of gender, race, class. The actions of four groups of women intertwine and unite against a society that is still patriarchal, supremacist and heterogeneous: the Women's Army bicycle militia, the editors of the Socialist Youth Review, the hosts of the pirate stations Radio Phoenix and Radio Ragazza. With a unique and piercing style close to guerrilla documentaries, this choral film captures and injects the disruptive and immediate energy of the revolt.
