The documentary addresses the question of the identity of young Cape Verdeans born abroad, more specifically, in Portugal. It is a youthful film in several aspects: in the making, in the actors and in the uncomplicated and accessible language with which the interviewees approach themes such as integration, social differences, xenophobia or racism and the return to their parents' land. On the other hand, the language of the narrative is not so critical, but rather expository with a tone of poetry in the words.
The documentary manages to pose questions that make us think that Cape Verdeans born outside Cape Verde may experience constant identity problems: in Portugal they are Cape Verdeans and in Cape Verde they are Portuguese.
