Everything takes place in post-apartheid Johannesburg. Cling and Gugu and others looking for an identity meet each other. Each of them already has a story. Elle hid her husband and came to live in her aunt's house. Clint, who is an electrician, came to town to relax. Bazooka, an old activist, is a dealer who sells everything on the black market and offers Gugu to get her into the life of Soweto. They all meet at J.J.s'Bar to listen to Joe Nina, a musician who blends rap, pop and jazz.
