Just Peace follows the lives of three Sudanese children from north and south Sudan. Their experiences of conflict and hopes for peace are set against a backdrop of the peace process between May 2004 and Jan 2005, with interviews with political parties from both sides of the conflict, and the chief negotiator General Sumbeiywo.
Just Peace is a 24 minute documentary, produced and directed by ScreenStation Productions in association with the Sudan Advocacy Coalition.
Filmed in Upper Nile, Nuba Mountains and Khartoum, as well as at the peace talks in Naivasha Kenya, the film is available for broadcast in both Arabic and English. You can view clips from the film on www.alertnet.org/thefacts/imagerepository/video/Just_peace.WMV
