Located in the shapeless township of Soweto and Hillbrow, the first suburb incorporated of Johannesburg, "The Line" depicts the complexity of South African politics. While telling the story of a single South African citizen, the viewers are taken into the violent moments of a society in rapid change. Entirely produced by a South African team, the script shows how life in that troubled society is also made of love and life with also unavoidable tears, instead of showing the police brutality and the reckless slaughters.
