Suzy is a young woman from a working-class neighbourhood of Yaoundé. To realize her dream of going to Paris and ease her family's financial plight, she embarks on a dangerous adventure. After several unsuccessful attempts at buying a visa, and a failed attempt to cross the maritime border between Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea, she opts for prostitution. Having succeeded in her plans, she discovers the harsh realities of life in Paris.
