Mandou is a "tabilé" (a little boy entrusted to a marabout who has to earn his living by begging in the streets). Ablaye lives with his father in a rubbish tip. Each child lets the other into the secrets of his own world. It's also the confrontation of two worlds: the greedy, violent and destructive adults, and the children who are hoping to find a world worthy of their dreams.
