A man sets out to find his wife after they've lost a child. In his quest he finds himself torn between traditional and modern Africa.

In this dance film, an African man feverishly looks for his wife who has vanished without a trace. His ramble, partly taking place in a supernatural reality, unfolds like a road movie. All the time, the man's longing for his darling is undiminished. Torn between the modern and the traditional African life, he wonders if he may have lost his dearest to an invisible world.

Dansfilm waarin een Afrikaanse man koortsachtig zoekt naar zijn vrouw die spoorloos is verdwenen. Zijn deels in een bovennatuurlijke realiteit afspelende dwaaltocht ontvouwt zich als een road movie. Steeds blijft de man onverminderd verlangen naar zijn geliefde. Heen en weer geslingerd tussen het moderne en het traditionele Afrikaanse leven vraagt hij zich af of hij zijn geliefde wellicht verloren heeft aan een onzichtbare wereld.
