In a sacred village of southern India, among the temples and pilgrims, one charismatic old Brahman has worked for 80 years to collect literary books from all over the world.

Only understanding and knowledge account for him.

By dint of dedication and conviction, it has managed to be so far the most important libraries of the state of Karnataka, with more than 70,000 books. It has a unique collection of books in Sanskrit on palm leaves older than 800 years.

All these books were kept in an open courtyard of a building introduced to constant wind and rain, which was lent by the monks of the village.

Today, his efforts were rewarded by building a cultural center in tribute to his twilight years.
