On 15 October 1987, the leader of the Burkinabè revolution was killed in a coup d'état. Though this was not the first putsch in the country, its tragic outcome with the assassination of Thomas Sankara and twelve of his companions was shocking. Films have been made on Thomas Sankara from different perspectives, but in Burkina Faso very few audiovisual productions dwelled on his governance. Yet many witnesses are still alive and willing to share their side of the story. TIENE gives them the floor to reveal what they have to tell.
