Faeni Dancers is a cultural dance group from the Northern Region of Malaita in Solomon Islands.
The group was formed in 2007 and has participated extensively in alot of local events in Solomon Islands. The first international tour was during the recent 5th Melanesian Arts held in Papua New Guinea in 2014.
The group consist of all females and comprised of mainly family members.
They perform tradtional dancers from their culture that involves the rhythmic stampings of the feet in coordination to the beat of a traditional wooden drum acmpanied by singing. This group is very interesting to watch and are very attractive in their performance due to the shellmoney ornaments that they wear.
