Kabu "morning mist" Ni Vanua "of the land"...the implication is the dawn or the beginning of a new day. The group strives to keep alive Fijian Culture and Heritage in the face of urbanisation modernisation and westernisation. The group is comprised of some of Fijis most accomplished college age performers and represented Fiji at the 2008 Melanesian festival of Pacific Arts and went on to win all the top award in 2009 at Fiji Hibiscus festival.
