Offering a mostly acoustic and whispered hybrid of alternative folk, soul and reggae, The King Stones (Gabriella Reno and Samuele Vivian) were born and raised respectively in Kingston, Jamaican and Venice, Italy. The singer, songwriter, and the internationally acclaimed solo guitarist met in June 2013 and immediately fell in love with the fusion of their music elements which led to an intense activity of songs co-writing, touring, and recording. Few months later, they opened for Toni Braxton and Chrisette Michelle in front of thirty thousand people at the "Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival" during a Caribbean tour, immediately after it was announced that "Tallawah" and other Jamaican newspapers had nominated the duo "Indie Reggae Sound" of the moment. In late March 2014 they released the hit song and video "Love you to Bumboclat" which is currently being aired by major Radios and TV stations throughout the Caribbean. "Round and Round", the debut album will be released in Europe in March 2015 during their winter tour; the Jamaican and U.S. release will be followed in September of the same year.
