Arterial Network Kenya in partnership with Artwatch Africa, this week hosted 17 women from the East African region to deliberate on the concepts of gender, gender equality, leadership and women's empowerment within Africa's cultural sector. Drawn from Ethiopia, Mauritius, Seychelles, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Madagascar and Rwanda, participants represented media, civil society, public service, the legal fraternity and individual art practice.
