Outstanding television and radio presenters will have reason to smile as the countdown to the inaugural Rwanda Broadcasters Excellence Awards (RBEA) gala begins. The Awards will be a celebration of the best in the Electronic media and are being organised by the East African Youth Development Agency (EAYDA).
Emmanuel Mugisha, the Managing Director of EAYDA, told The New Times that the Awards will target those in broadcast who have distinguished themselves as role models, mentors, and propagators of social change.
A total of nineteen categories have been listed for the inaugural ceremony, to be held in May.
Voting will be only through the SMS platform. The names and codes of candidates will be announced on March 16.

Best Female Sports presenter of the Year

Best Lunch Hour radio presenter of the Year
Best Evening drive radio presenter of the Year
Best Radio morning show of the Year.
