She may not be a popular name on the gospel music front but gospel artiste, Nhyira Betty is no stranger to the business of gospel music. After her previous attempts to get recognition on the gospel music front failed when she released her two albums in 2008 and 2010 respectively, the Kumasi-based singer didn't give up but rather went home to do her homework well.

She is back with her new album; Apam Adaka, which she said, is a "refined package" of her previous albums. Recorded by different producers in Kumasi, Apam Adaka is a 10-track album, which has songs like Barima ɔna, Oman Frani, Yebedwiri and Apam Adaka.
Apam Adaka is a reggae tune, which implores Christians to wait upon God in times of difficulties since "God's time is the best".

In a rendition of the old popular gospel song, Yebedwiri, she entreats Christians to hold forth the weapon of prayer to arm themselves against the evil plots of their enemies and pull down their strongholds.
The songs on the album may not be unique in terms of rhythm, melody and diction but Nhyiraba Betty's crafty use of words in appellation of the Supreme Being makes it a delight to listen to.

With words like Katawere, Osiriboɔ Sekyere, Amansanhene and Odo yɛnbo kɛhyire, Nhyira Betty exalts the name of the Lord in different titles in Twi. In a highlife tune and a mid-tempo rhythm, she talks about how God's wondrous nature makes Him unique and superior above His creation on Barima Ena.

Under the management of M.T Production in Kumasi, Nhyira Betty, real name, Betty Adwoa Serwaa Yeboah, is married with three children. Yɛɛbɛ Gwan and Sunsum Boafo are her two previous albums.
