The competition entitled "Ecrire en fête" aims at identifying high quality literary texts to use as fish for youth novels collections, Tanéka and Miroir D'encre. The best short listed texts writers will sign a contract with Editions Ruisseaux d'Afrique for their publication. The texts must be dealing with the life of children or teen-agers : a daily life in town or in the countryside, polars or current issues, joy of life, happiness, children's experiences, funny stories, great current issues etc. The participants to this contest must use a vocabulary within the easy reach of the targeted readers, and the length must be between 3500 and 5000 words, and the number of pages between 13 and 15, all written in A4 format. The applications must be sent to the French Cultural Centre in Cotonou.
