| THE SELECTIONS OF THE AFRICAN DREAM 2017 | THE AFRO PEPITES SHOW |
This selection is the fruit of a collaborative selection. Details
| Thank you all for your participation |
| ENJOY THE DISCOVERIES AND SPREAD THE WORD |

1st PEPITES : STUDIO SHAP SHAP | Alternativ-Electro | Niger, Chad, Reunion island
Studio Shap Shap, this is the story of 6 friends living in Niamey and who have different languages, ages, history and cultures (4 Nigerians, 1 Chadian, 1 from Reunion island). Six musicians who have the same desire to have Niger be heard differently. Studio Shap Shap proves this country has much more to offer musically. This band plays with a mix of little-known traditional instruments from Sahel (Douma, Kinde, Komsa), electronic sounds, « field recordings » and stories from ancient times…
Looking for: a booking agency, publisher, organisers, media.

2d PEPITES : KRISTEL | Pop, Rock | Madagascar
Kristel is not only a feminist, it is also, and primarily, the future of a feminist generation and of a nation which is at stake. With her trusty musicians, her Pop Rock trio play themes where love feelings are put forward, together with their rebel touch. Kristel, Benkheli and Sylvano are ready to tour the world with this first album released in October 2017.
Looking for: a booking agency, publisher, organisers, media.

3rd PEPITE : BOB ATISSO | Sand sculpture | Togo
Words are not strong enough to describe the works of Bob. Extremely precise, it often happens that one wonders how can we build such monuments almost with bare hands and with the only material: sand. In his work, he masterfully presents the daily life in Africa while giving the artistic touch a special engineering. Bringing to life the sand is respecting nature. With Bob Atisso, sand sculpture has a name! As he likes to remind us, the important thing is to communicate by works, we give you the opportunity to contemplate them.
Looking for: organisers, media.
