British media organisation Media Diversified is striving to get more diverse voices into the UK media. They are looking for new writers and contributors across a range of topics, one of which is Africa. If you feel that you can write well on topics affecting the continent for a UK audience then get in touch with them.

They say: "We are looking for submissions that could be published in a national newspaper or magazine. Our aim is to help writers and journalists of colour get their voices heard in the broadcast and print media. We have invited editors and commissioners to look through our archives and Writers & Experts page. Send in a 100 words or less bio plus a photo to mediadiversityuk@gmail.com with your first article submission and if the article is something we'd wish to publish you will be added to the Writers page.

"We strongly suggest to all who submit that they read the most recent articles on the website to acquaint themselves with material that we publish. We are currently unable to offer remuneration for articles we publish however we do offer help and support to our writers in other ways, please email Sam at mediadiversityuk@gmail.com for further information."
