Canal Studio

Canal Studio is a local ni-Vanuatu lead charitable association in Luganville, Santo, Vanuatu.  It aims to provide suppport for youth and rural comunities in the Performing Arts including music, dance and other traditional cultural activities.

Its key objectives are based on encouraging and involving youth in development activities in Luganville and SANMA province, and extending to TORBA, MALAMPA and PENAMA provinces:
    i.    To promote artists with original music
    ii.    To provide a supporting structure for performing arts, artists and kastom performances
    ⁃    Technical knowledge in audio and visual production both live and recorded
    ⁃    Development in artistic production
    ⁃    Create, Improve and assist management capabilities of performing groups
    ⁃    Acquire equipment to provide platforms for performances
iii.    To revive disappearing kastom activities and assist in the development and promotion of kastom inheritance
iv    To work with communities, groups, bands, and organisations for the promotion of positive kastom values through music
v.    To create platforms for cultural performances and activities
vi.    To create and encourage financial opportunities for performers
vii.    To manage and administrate the above activities effectively using volunteer youth
viii.    To keep proper financial records
ix.     Provide the necessary skills and trainings for all of the above via target projects
