Trinidad and Tobago nationals can benefit from an exciting opportunity for training in Film and Animation through a programme called the Caribbean Travelling Film School. This eight month film training project is on offer to forty (40) Trinidad and Tobago nationals from August 2010 to April 2011 at a subsidized cost of two thousand dollars (TT$2,000.00). All classes will be held on evenings and Saturdays with a total of 12 hour sessions per week.



The aim of the Caribbean Travelling Film School is to have a direct and strong influence on the Caribbean film industry through the development of a cadre of properly trained and experienced Caribbean professionals with skill-sets developed from theoretical training and practical internship.



The Programme includes modules on:






Acting for the Screen

Screen-writing

Pre-production



Production

Directing the actor

Production Design



Directing the camera

Cinematography

Lighting and sound



Editing and post-production

Music for film

 




Students will also intern on a feature-length film to be shot on location in Trinidad and Tobago.
